Toby Murray

Senior Research Officer (2023-2025)

Toby worked as a Senior Research Officer at Money and Mental Health from 2023 until 2025, exploring the links between financial difficulty and mental health.

Before joining Money and Mental Health, he worked for the RSA as a Health Foundation Policy Fellow, leading their work on Young People’s Future Health and Economic Security. His work focused on the gaps in young people’s collective security and the impact this has on the building blocks of their health. Before that he worked for the Northampton Hope Centre, a day centre for people experiencing homelessness.

In his spare time Toby enjoys reading, running, hanging out with friends, pickling things and baking acceptable loaves of bread. (he/him)
