No return: How people with mental health problems are paying the price for poor returns policies

Most of us occasionally buy things that we later regret. For people with mental health problems, however, impulse shopping can be a more serious problem – one which is compounded by complex or misleading returns policies that make it harder to return unwanted items.

In this paper we make the case for retailers to make their returns policies more accessible, to ensure that people with mental health problems are able to exercise their consumer rights.
