It takes a neighbourhood
Putting integrated money and mental health support at the heart of neighbourhood health services
This policy paper shows the urgent need for national and local leaders to join up money advice and mental health support in the new neighbourhood health services – and how they can make that a reality.
It calls on government to set out clear guidance for local leaders to prioritise joined up care, and on how this can be delivered through neighbourhood health service.
It also sets out 10 principles that will be critical to successfully delivering joined-up money and mental health support as part of the shift to neighbourhood working.
This includes case studies of existing good practice in NHS services, which illustrate the principles and demonstrate the diverse routes to impactful outcomes in different local contexts.
