Among people not in consumer credit arrears, 42% report feeling anxious, 22% report feeling unable to cope, and 15% report a feeling of dread about hearing from creditors. However, among people in consumer credit arrears, that rises to 69% of people feeling anxious, 55% feeling unable to cope, and 57% feeling dread about hearing from creditors.
