Martin Lewis

Martin Lewis is the founder and Chair of trustees for the Money and Mental Health Policy Institute. He is committed to funding the charity’s work for at least the first four years. Martin is known as the Money Saving Expert and is an award-winning campaigning broadcaster, newspaper columnist and author. In 2003 he founded MoneySavingExpert.com for £100, it soon became, and continues to be, the UK’s biggest consumer help website with more than 14 million monthly users. He is still active on the site as its Executive Chair.

Martin has his own prime-time ITV winter time series –  The Martin Lewis Money Show – and is resident expert on This Morning,  Good Morning Britain and BBC Radio 5 Live’s ‘Lunch Money Martin’, among others. Martin was appointed CBE in the 2022 New Year Honours for services to broadcasting and consumer rights. You can read a more detailed biography of Martin here.
