Dan Weir

Dan manages our Research and Policy team, exploring the links between money and mental health. He is passionate about finding solutions that lead to real change in peoples’ lives.

Before joining Money and Mental Health, he spent ten years in the financial services sector, during which time he led the Research and Insight Team at PIB Insurance, focussing on niche sectors with specialised needs, particularly the childcare industry.

Outside of his day job, Dan has helped to run various charities and NGOs, including the Article 11 Trust and Campaign Against Arms Trade. He is also a keen historical fencer, and is the lead Rapier instructor at the London Historical Fencing Club. (he/him)
