Chart showing the difference between people who are unemployed and the whole adult population on different measures to do with mental health and debt. Among unemployed people in the last two years, 57% have experienced a mental health problem recently, 71% have felt anxious, 54% have felt unable to cope, 51% have felt dread about hearing from creditors and 37% have been behind on any bill. These figures for the general population are lower: in the last two years, 34% have experienced a mental health problem recently, 46% have felt anxious, 27% have felt unable to cope, 21% have felt dread about hearing from creditors and 17% have been behind on any bill.
