Katie Alpin (née Evans)
Interim Chief Executive (January 2020-October 2020)
Katie Alpin was Interim Chief Executive of the Money and Mental Health Policy Institute, providing maternity leave cover for our permanent CEO, Helen Undy. Katie is responsible for leading the Institute’s work, shaping our strategy and looking after our team. She spends lots of time sharing our work with politicians, civil servants, regulators and firms to ensure it has real impact.
Before stepping up as Interim CEO, Katie was Money and Mental Health’s Head of Research and Policy for three years. She has also worked as an economist in the City and at a Westminster think tank. Katie is passionate about using public policy to improve people’s lives, and happiest with felt tips in hand brainstorming with new ideas with the team. In her spare time, Katie runs a Brownie unit for girls aged 7-10, and is a member of the What Works Centre for Wellbeing Advisory Panel. @katie_alpin
