John Lee

John is Senior Research Officer in Money and Mental Health’s Gambling Harms Action Lab, working with people with lived experience of gambling-related harms and financial services firms to develop better support for people at risk of harm.

John has previously worked for organisations such as the University of Manchester and the Sainsbury Centre for Mental Health carrying out research on mental health services in hospital, community and general practice settings, with a particular focus on the views and experiences of people with mental health problems.

Outside of work, John likes watching live sport, particularly athletics and track cycling, going to the theatre, and he plays keyboards in a band called The Sha La La’s. (he/him)
