Paul is currently a Visiting Professor at the LSE and a Non-Executive Director of the Cabinet Office. Until recently, he was a partner at KPMG, where he was the Global Head of Government and Public Services. He has held a wide range of public service roles in both central and local UK government, including being Head of the Number 10 Policy Unit.
He was appointed Companion of the Bath (CB) in 2013. Paul is also currently chairing a Department for Education advisory group to improve peer-to-peer mental health support for young people.
