Senior Research Officer (2024-2025)
Leia Clifton was Senior Research Officer in Money and Mental Heath’s Gambling Harms Action Lab, working with people with lived experience of gambling-related harms and financial services firms to develop better support for people at risk of harm.
Leia has worked within a range of policy areas from women’s rights to healthy environments – working towards a society where everyone can access a good life. Leia has also worked in refugee rights, campaigning for financial rights, safe housing, and to protect domestic and international human rights laws, including the Human Rights Act 1998.
Leia enjoys yoga, climbing, seeing new things, meeting new people and walking just about anywhere. (She/her)
