Event catch-up: Sharing our benefits and income research with Parliament

Yesterday, we were delighted to speak at the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Universal Credit, in a session focusing on mental health and the benefits system. Alongside speakers with personal experiences of these issues – and representatives from Mind and the University of Liverpool – Nikki Bond, our Senior Research Officer, shared some of our research findings on benefits, income and mental health.

Nikki spoke about the mental health and financial consequences of the benefits system, and outlined how Universal Credit could work better for people with mental health problems. You can catch up on the event in the video below:
